Founded in 2019 by Amanda F. Standard in Washington DC, SoundXpressed is the leading sound in contemporary movement. This professional company draws innovative expressions with diverse and versatile artists. The presentation combines familiar dance genres such as classical ballet, Horton and Graham based vocabulary with a diverse cultural library that shares powerful messages of transformation.
SoundXpressed uses movement to reveal the diverse community’s common connections while celebrating the unique fusion of diverse interpretation, by advancing dance education, fostering collaborations, cultivating a supportive-expressive culture, by developing human relationships.
